Results 2025: ICSE And ISC Students Can Now Check Their Scores Online And Via SMS, Here’s How

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the results for ICSE Class 10 and ISC Class 12 for the academic year 2025. The results were made available today during a press conference, as per an India Today report. Students who appeared for these exams can now check their scores through the official CISCE website, the results portal, or via the DigiLocker platform.

CISCE Exam 2025 Details

  • The ICSE (Class 10) exams were held from February 18 to March 27.
  • The ISC (Class 12) exams took place between February 13 and April 5.

The results are released, students can download their digital marksheets using their unique ID and index number. This digital version of the marksheet can be accessed through various platforms. Students can check their scores on the official websites - cisce.org, results.cisce.org, or via the DigiLocker platform or through SMS.

CISCE Exam 2025: Steps To Check And Download Results

To check and download the results, follow these simple steps:

1. Visit the official DigiLocker portal at digilocker.gov.in.
2. Go to the CISCE section.
3. Select the option for Class 12 (ISC) or Class 10 (ICSE) results.
4. Enter your index number, unique ID, and date of birth.
5. Click on 'Submit' to view and download your result.

Students can also check their results via SMS. To do so, type ISC_Unique ID and send it to 09248082883. The results will be sent as an SMS alert, showing subject-wise marks.

Rechecking And Re-evaluation Process

After the results are announced, students who feel the need to review their marks can request a recheck of their answer sheets. The rechecking window will be available immediately and will remain open until May 4.

If students are still not satisfied with their results after the recheck, they can opt for re-evaluation of their answer scripts for specific subjects. In addition, candidates looking to improve their scores in the same academic year have the option to appear for improvement exams in up to two subjects. These improvement exams are scheduled for July 2025.

Previous Year's Performance

In the 2024 academic session, the ICSE Class 10 exams concluded on March 28, and the results were declared on May 6, 2024. The overall pass percentage was an impressive 99.47 per cent. Out of 2,695 schools, 82.48 per cent (2,223 schools) reported a 100 per cent pass rate. The results for ICSE 2023 were released on May 14, following exams conducted between February 27 and March 29.

Important Notes

The ICSE and ISC results will be available in the form of a marksheet. This document will include the student's name, school name, roll number, subjects, marks scored, and the final result status. Students are advised to carefully verify these details. In case of any discrepancies, they should immediately report the issue to their respective school authorities for correction.

With this detailed process in place, students now have easy access to their results and can take the necessary steps for re-evaluation or improvement exams as required.
