Resort under maintenance: Time for AIADMK MLAs to find new place?

Is the resort awaiting new guests or are the MLAs coming back?

The Golden Bay resort was a hub of activity after AIADMK interim general secretary Sasikala Natarajan carted away over a 100 AIADMK MLAs to avoid poaching by the O Panneerselvam camp. Outside the resort at Kuvathur, an interesting bill is pasted on one of the gates that reads: resort under maintenance.

The message could mean anything. It could mean that the resort is being readied since the MLAs are likely to be taken back to the resort as there does not appear to be an end to the ongoing chaos inside the assembly. Or, it could mean that the drama has come to an end and after such a long stay by the MLAs, the resort needs to be cleaned up and made available to new guests.

Twitter is abuzz with rumours that 59 rooms are being cleaned up. It may be recalled that the police had instructed the resort owner to send all the MLAs out. There were complaints that some of the MLAs had been abducted and kept in the resort. This had even led to a probe being conducted.
