Republic Day 2024: How And Where To Buy Tickets To Attend The Parade?

The Ministry of Defence has launched an online portal (www.aamantran.mod.gov.in) for the public to buy tickets to attend the 75th Republic Day on 26 January.

The Republic Day Parade is followed by the Beating Retreat Ceremony, held at Vijay Chowk on January 29. Tickets for the ceremony can be purchased at the counters until the afternoon of January 28.

How To Book Tickets For R-Day Parade?

  • Login if you already have an account or create a new one.
  • After creating an account, the person will be redirected to the login page where she has to login via her registered mobile number.
  • A verification code will be prompted on the mobile number and after entering the OTP, she will be directed to the events page.
  • The person will select the desired event from the list that she wants to attend. The events include Republic Day Parade and Beating the Retreat.
  • After entering all the required details of attendees, the person is suppose to upload a valid identification proof of the attendees.
  • The attendee will get the tickets on her registered mobile number and email-id after the payment.

Tickets Price

Tickets are available in three categories for an event. The reserved seats cost Rs 500, offering the best view with limited supply, and only one ticket per government ID is allowed. Unreserved seats are priced at Rs 100, providing a decent view with more availability, and attendees can purchase up to two tickets per ID. Another unreserved option is available at Rs 20, offering readily available seats but with a limited view.

Offline Tickets

  • The public can also purchase the tickets offline from January 10t-25 from the below-mentioned locations:
  • India Tourism Development Corporation (IDTC) Travel Counters at Ashok and Janpath Hotels (Working days only).
  • Delhi Tourism Development Corporation (DTDC) Counters at Coffee Home, Baba Kharag Singh Marg, Food and Craft Bazar, Dilli Haat (Working days only).
  • Departmental Sale Counters at North Block roundabout, South Block roundabout, Pragati Maidan, Jantar Mantar, Shastri Bhawan, India Gate, Red Fort (10 a.m. until 5.30 p.m. daily).
  • Parliament House Reception Office (11 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday/Sunday/Holiday closed).
  • Government of India Tourist Office, Janpath (closed Sunday).
