Relief for AAP MLA Somnath Bharti, gets bail

New Delhi, Oct 7: In a major relief to the controversial AAP MLA, a local court has granted him bail in connection with a domestic violence report that was filed by his Lipika Mitra. The Dwarka court allowed bail to the Malviya Nagar MLA after a security deposit of 1 lakh.

Somnath Bharti was in Tihar jail after it was alleged by his wife that he had tried to kill her. A case of attempt to murder and matrimonial cruelty case was lodged. In fact, Bharti's anticipatory bail was rejected by the lower court, trial court and Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, his wife said that he was not interested in any kind of mediation and reconcilliation with him.
