Rekha Gupta Will Be New CM Of Delhi, Oath Ceremony Tomorrow At 11am

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislators have unanimously named Rekha Gupta as the New Chief Minister of Delhi. Rekha Gupta will be the 4th woman CM after Sheila Dikshit, Sushma Swaraj, and Atishi. Rekha Gupta, new Delhi CM, oath-taking ceremony is slated to be held on February 20, 2025.

BJP won 48 seats out of 70 in the recently concluded Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. AAP failed to defend its fort and bagged only 22 seats, while Congress could not open its account.

Rekha Gupta, a key figure in Delhi's political landscape and a seasoned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member, has made headlines as a strong contender for the Chief Minister position.

Having begun her political journey with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) during her college days, Gupta has established herself as a formidable force in the realm of politics. This journey saw her becoming an MLA from Shalimar Bagh in the 2023 Delhi Assembly elections, where she celebrated victory over AAP's Vandana Kumari.

Her political career, marked by consistent progress, culminated in her re-election from the same constituency in 2025.
