'Real star' Upendra likely to join BJP today

Sandalwood actor/director Upendra, well known for his out of the box ideas, is likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Saturday in presence of party chief Amit Shah who is visiting Bengaluru.
In a 15-minute voice recording on Facebook Upendra gave hints of joining politics areana. He said: ''For ensuring that people's representatives work honestly, I am willing to accept the responsibility. But people need to believe me. Though it is an impossible task, I have decided to try my luck and also try to form a party without money."
Recently, he had tweeted about saying no to Raja 'key' ya (politics) and yes to Praja 'key' ya democracy. He had told that the key to power should not be with the politicians but with the people.

If speculations came true, Upendra will be the latest actor to join BJP after Tara Anuradha, Jaggesh, Malavika Avinash and Ganesh.
Tara is currently a nominated member of the Karnataka Legislative Council, Malavika Avinash is permanent invitee to the BJP Mahila Morcha and Jaggesh is the special invitee Executive Committee Member of Karnataka BJP.
