RBI Bank Holidays List: Banks Are Open Or Closed On Sawan Shivratri 2025, July 23 ?
As India prepares to celebrate Sawan Shivratri on Wednesday, July 23, many schools and government offices across northern states will remain closed due to the ongoing Kanwar Yatra. However, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has not listed this day as a bank holiday, meaning all banks across the country will remain open.
While there will be no interruption to in-person banking services, customers are advised to plan visits accordingly, especially in areas experiencing heavy traffic and security measures due to the religious processions.
Meanwhile, digital banking services such as UPI, mobile banking, and net banking will continue to operate 24/7 without disruption. These channels remain a convenient option for transactions, utility payments, and fund transfers during any festival or public event.
