Woman Accuses Haryana MLA Surjakhera of Rape; He Alleges Election Conspiracy

My appeal is that an impartial probe should be conducted and I am ready to cooperate."

Surjakhera resigned from the state Assembly as the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) MLA from Narwana on August 22. He had openly supported the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the recent Lok Sabha polls. After resigning from the Assembly, he claimed that he and three other legislators would join the BJP soon.

Surjakhera believes these allegations are part of a larger plot to undermine his political career. He stated, "I have come to know from sources about the registration of a false FIR of rape against me at the behest of some anti-social elements."
