The controversial leader also alleged that with the construction of the memorial, the government wants to ensure that the memory of the demolition is part of the history.

"The Centre is trying to prove that the memory of whatever happened, due to understanding between the former prime minister and RSS, should be a part of the history and message of the insulting demolition goes to the tourists coming from all over the world to Delhi," Khan said.

He said that such an attempt would leave an adverse affect on the society. According to report in a section of media, Central government is planning to construct a memorial to honour the late prime minister.
