Rana Daggubati, his father booked in land-grabbing case
Hyderabad, Feb 11: Telugu actor Rana Daggubati and his father Suresh Babu have been reportedly booked in a land-grabbing case.
One Pramod Kumar has lodged the complaint over a land property dispute at Film Nagar in Hyderabad, India Today reported.

According to the complainant, Rana and Suresh Babu threatened him to vacate land that belongs to him and also accused the cops of failing to take action against the accused.
Suresh Babu 2014 had leased out land in a prime location in Film Nagar area for setting up a hotel and the agreement expired in 2018. So, Babu decided to sell the land to Rs 18 crore, News18 reported.
He reportedly paid Rs 5 crore to complete the process but filed a complaint against Pramod accusing him of not vacating the land. However, Pramod claims that he was not paid Rs 5 crore.
Pramod was forcefully vacated from the place using rowdies. He approached the Banjara Hills police station to file a complaint, but the cops refused to book the case. Hence, he approached Nampally court.

A summons has been issued to both Rana and Suresh to appear before the court on May 1.
Earlier, a businessman named Nanda Kumar had made similar allegations against actor Venkatesh, Rana Daggubati and Suresh in a civil court where he alleged that they had tried to sell the land to someone while being on a lease., The Times of India reported.
Suresh Babu, son of legendary Telugu producer D Ramanaidu, is a leading filmmaker in Tollywood who has made several successful movies like 'Bobbili Raja', 'Coolie No.1', 'Preminchukundam Raa', Ganesh', 'Malliswari', 'Tulasi', etc. He had also claimed that they were trying to vacate from the property.
Whereas Rana Daggubati is a successful actor who has worked in many hit movies including SS Rajamouli's two-art series 'Baahubali'.
