The crescent moon marking the start of the holy month of Ramzan 1446 AH (2025) was sighted in Saudi Arabia on the evening of Friday, February 28. The Kingdom's moon sighting committee has confirmed that the first fast of Ramzan will be observed on Saturday, March 1, while Taraweeh prayers will commence on Friday, February 28, after Isha prayers.

Also known as Ramzan, Ramazan, or Ramzaan, Ramadan is one of the five pillars of Islam-a period of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of kindness.
