Doctors advise people to drink enough water, eat fruits, and healthy food for proper nutrients during the Sehri meal. People should avoid eating oily and food that could be hard to digest.

To match the amount of energy, protein, and nutrients, food with enough quantity of carbohydrates, vitamins, and minerals should be consumed along with enough water.

Dry fruits like dates, walnuts, and almonds are great sources of protein, calcium, and vitamins that one needs during fasting. These dry fruits will give you energy throughout the day and help you stay hydrated.

Along with a good choice of food, experts advise eating small portions and selecting the meal wisely.

While, breaking the fast with light and easily digestible food items is a healthier option, and would help in keeping the body prepared for the next day of fasting.

At the time of Sehri, having dairy products like cheeses, paneer, eggs, or vegetables like tomatoes and cucumbers could be good options. Additionally, one can have soup, well-cooked vegetables with light spices and fruits.

While at the time of Iftari, people can break the fast with fresh juice, fruits, and light food.
