Ram Mandir Video: Glimpse Of Ayodhya's Ram Temple Before Grand Opening

With just two days remaining for the grand consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, preparations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which will infuse the idol with divine consciousness, are underway.

All the important personalities, from film stars to cricketers to politicians, have started arriving at Ayodhya for a grand celebration. Meanwhile, the city of Ram Lalla is all decked up with lights flowers and posters of Ram ahead of the D-Day.

An exclusive look inside the magnificent temple is provided in a video posted on X by DD News. The grand marble structure's footsteps are illuminated, and bouquets adorn its pillars and columns. Inside the temple, multi-coloured flower garlands are seen being hung from the ceiling by workers on ladders.

The consecration ceremony is scheduled to commence at 12:30 pm on January 22. The culmination of a week of rituals performed to prepare the temple for the Pran Pratishtha will be marked by this event. The main rituals of the ceremony will be conducted by a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit.

At the core of these rituals, positioned inside the sanctum sanctorum, is the 51-inch idol of Lord Ram Lalla, portraying Lord Ram at the age of five. Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj carved the idol out of black stone.

The unveiling of the complete look of the idol took place on Friday, revealing the deity's face along with a golden bow and arrow. The grand event will witness the presence of numerous dignitaries, including Prime Minister Modi and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Among the 7,000 guests invited for the ceremony are businessman Mukesh Ambani, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Government offices, boards, and corporations in several states have declared a half-day or holiday on January 22.
