"The experience today was the most remarkable of my life! Our esteemed leader Mr. @rajinikanth, I was delighted to meet him at his residence and extend an invitation on behalf of Ayodhya, Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra for the Ayodhya Kumbabhishek event on January 22, alongside RSS officials," the Tamil Nadu BJP leader conveyed.

Rajinikanth joins a group of distinguished actors, including Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Anupam Kher, and Akshay Kumar, invited to the Ram Mandir's consecration ceremony. Additionally, prominent directors Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rohit Shetty, and producer Mahaveer Jain have received invitations from the Temple Trust.

The roster also encompasses South Indian celebrities such as Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Dhanush, and Rishab Shetty.

"It's a positive move, artists should participate. Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, and many other artists have been invited by the Trust for the 'Pran Pratishtha'. PM Modi is also attending. All the participating artists will be warmly welcomed in Ayodhya," stated Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to ANI.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the Ram Mandir on January 22, an event expected to draw high-profile dignitaries globally. The temple trust has advised devotees to refrain from traveling to Ayodhya on the consecration ceremony day.

The invitations have stirred political controversy, with the Opposition asserting that the BJP is attempting to politicize the Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony for its gain. Some Opposition leaders expressed dissatisfaction over not receiving invitations, while others opted to abstain from the event.
