Raksha Bandhan celebrated in Jammu
Jammu, Aug 18: The festival of Raksha Bandhan was today celebrated in the Jammu region with religious fervor and gaiety with sisters tying rakhis on the wrists of their brothers.
A large number of women went to border areas and tied rakhis on BSF personnel.

"These BSF personnel are away from their families and just like our brothers they are guarding us so we came here to express our feelings to them by tying Rakhis," Kamlesh Kumari said.
The security personnel expressed happiness at the women's gesture. "We are happy that our sisters from various parts of Jammu came to tie Rakhis. Even as we are far away from our families these sisters from Jammu did the needful by tying Rakhis," a BSF official said.
