Rakhi Sawant says Assam CM is her 'good friend'; Tarun Gogoi says 'I don't know her'

Guwahati, Sept 10: Drama queen Rakhi Sawant has once again hogged media limelight over bizarre reasons. Now, she has claimed that Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is her 'good friend'. Interestingly, Gogoi has denied even knowing Rakhi!

Rakhi made this startling claim on Wednesday, Sept 9, while adding that she will soon visit Assam on chief minister's invitation, during Bihu festival.

36-year-old Rakhi was quoted saying as to a news portal, "Gogoi is a very good friend of mine. I have met him on three-four occasions. Actually he invited me to meet him. We had very good conversation whenever we met. Gogoi is a nice man."

"The Assam Chief Minister has invited me to Guwahati during the festival of Bihu. I am thinking of wearing a Sadar-Mekhla for him. I will also dance Bihu along with him,"
she further said.

However, when 81-year-old Gogoi was asked about the same, his reply left everyone stunned when he said, "Who is she? I don't know her".

"I don't even remember that whether I met her or not. As the CM, I meet a lot of people. If everyone starts claiming that I am their friend, then it will be a tough situation for me."

In a lighter vein, Gogoi said, "With such claims by Rakhi that I am her friend, I would have to give an explanation to my wife as well."

Rakhi Sawant, who has performed in a number of Bollywood item songs, is all set to play the role of Indrani Mukherjea, the prime accused in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case, in an upcoming film.
