Rajinikanth cancels meet with fans, send audio message

Superstar Rajinikanth in an audio message announced his decision to cancel his meeting with fans. The scheduled meeting was to take place between April 12 and 16 and preparations for the same were being made by fan association members in all districts. In an audio​ message released on Saturday Rajinikanth is heard saying that it is difficult to take pictures with each and every fan and hence a better plan to meet the fans will be made soon.

"All of you have been wanting to meet and click photographs with me for a long time so we planned for that in April. Our initial plan was to meet all fans take photographs and organise a feast. It was planned as a get-together. We realise it is difficult to take individual pictures and hence planned for group photographs consisting of 8 members. The fans expressed disappointment with that idea. I think it is fair too. No one will want a group picture," Rajinikanth says in the audio clipping.

The superstar also added that it was practically impossible to take individual pictures with fans whose numbers run into at least 2000. "We have decided to cancel this meeting for now. In the near future, we will plan a meeting with fans from every district separately so that fans can take individual photographs. I am sure all of you understand. Thank you so much," he concludes.
