Rajnath Singh asks BSF to give befitting reply to Pak firing
New Delhi, Jan3: Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday ordered BSF to take appropriate action and give a befitting reply to firing by Pakistan on Indian posts along the International Border in Samba and Hiranagar sectors of Jammu region.
The Home Minister is constantly monitoring the situation, Home Ministry officials said. Pakistani Rangers tonight resorted to heavy mortar shelling and firing on BSF posts along the Indo-Pak border in Samba and Kathua districts of Jammu and Kashmir, forcing a strong retaliation from the Indian side.

Earlier in the day, the Home Minister accused Pakistan of trying to push militants into India through the cover of continuous firing from across the border.
Home Ministry officials had also said that groups of militants were waiting across the border to infiltrate into India to carry out terror strike ahead of US President Barack Obama's visit to India.
