Rajnath meets veterans over OROP
New Delhi, Aug 28: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh met representatives of veterans protesting over non-implementation of the One Rank One Pension (OROP) scheme and assured them of his support here on Friday.
"The minister said he will do his best in sorting out the issue," spokesperson of the ex-servicemen front, Col. Anil Kaul (retd.) told IANS.

The home minister had earlier this week met Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and some Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh representatives over the issue.
Friday is the 75th day of agitation by ex-servicemen over OROP at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
