Rajnath congratulates Modi, says BJP's performance 'superb'

New Delhi, May 16: BJP president Rajnath Singh Friday congratulated prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi over the party's performance in the Lok Sabha polls and said the trends indicate "a landslide" for the party.

In a message on Twitter, Rajnath Singh described the BJP's performance as "superb".

The Bharatiya Janata Party president said he spoke to Modi over telephone following early result trends.

"Congratulated Shri Narendra Modi over the phone on BJP's superb performance in the Lok Sabha election. Trends indicate it is a landslide," Rajnath Singh posted.
