"As Manthara in the Ramayana hatched a conspiracy to prevent Rama from becoming the king of Ayodhya, similarly the Congress is hatching a conspiracy against Modi," Rajnath Singh told a public rally here.

"But despite Manthara's conspiracy, Rama became the king. Similarly, Modi will become the prime minister," he added to loud cheers.

The Bharatiya Janata Party leader added: "Modi will emerge more stronger if more conspiracies are hatched against him."
