Rajkot: Popular Instagram Influencer Found Dead At Her Residence, Probe Underway

In a tragic incident, Instagram influencer Radhika Dhamecha, aged 26, was found dead at her residence in Rajkot on Friday night. She reportedly took her own life by hanging. The motive behind this drastic action remains unclear. Before the incident, Radhika made a distressing call to her father, expressing her intention to end her life. Despite his efforts to reach out, she had already taken the fatal step.

Radhika had amassed around 45,000 followers on Instagram and lived separately from her parents following a divorce. Her family expressed disbelief over the incident, stating that she appeared content with her life and there seemed no apparent reason for such an act. She was immediately taken to the hospital but was declared dead upon arrival.

Investigation Underway

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Radhika's death. N.N. Patel, the police inspector at University police station, mentioned that they are in the process of recording statements from her friends. However, due to the family's current state of shock and their involvement in performing last rites, their statements will be recorded at a later time.

Radhika was not only an Instagram star but also a mother to a six-year-old boy who lived with her. Inspector Patel noted, "Dhamecha was an Insta star and had a huge fan following." The investigation aims to uncover any underlying reasons that might have led to this unfortunate event.
