Rajinikanth Seeing Future PM In Yogi Adityanath: Congress Leader

Congress leader Udit Raj on Tuesday said that Rajinikanth is seeing a future Prime Minister in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Speaking to ANI, he said, "Debates are happening on CM Yogi Adityanath being seen as Prime Minister in the future. Otherwise, this courtesy was not shown by actor Rajinikanth for Prime Minister Modi. He is having a glimpse of the future Prime Minister in CM Yogi Adityanath. Such talks are making rounds."

Days ago, Rajinikanth triggered a controversy after touching the feet of Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. Despite being 20 years elder to Yogi, the Tamil superstar sought the blessings of Yogi Adityanath.

Responding to the controversy, Rajinikanth in Chennai said, "It is my habit to touch the feet of Yogis or Sanyasis and take their blessings, even if they are younger to me, I have done that only," Rajinikanth said on Monday.

The 21st Chief Minister of UP is a monk and the mahant (Head Priest) of the Gorakhnath Math. This is possibly why Rajini touched the feet of Adityanath.

A clip of Rajini touching the feet had gone viral. On the other hand, his 'Jailer' has set the box office on fire. Not just in Tamil Nadu, the movie has done exceptionally well in Karnataka and Kerala.
