Rajasthan: Vasundhara Raje distributes portfolios to her ministers

Jaipur, Oct 28: A day after Cabinet reshuffle took place in Rajasthan, Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje on Tuesday distributed portfolios to the ministers.

Senior leader Gulab Chand Kataria was appointed Home Minister and Rajpal Singh was given Urban Development and Housing. Dr Rampratap was made Water Resources Minister while Kiran Maheshwari got Public Heath and Engineering and Ground Water department.

Besides, Arun Chaturvedi and Hem Singh Bhadana, who were promoted to Cabinet rank from MoS, were given Social Justice and Empowerment and Food and Civil Supply ministry respectively.

Prior to the cabinet reshuffle, Kataria was Rural Development and Panchayti Raj Minister and the Chief Minister was holding the portfolio of home.

Gajendra Singh, who was Energy Minister, was appointed Industry Minister. Public Works Minister Yunus Khan was also allotted Transport department. Ministers of State (Independent Charge) Krishnendra Kaur Deepa and Rajkumar Rinwa were allotted portfolio of Tourism and Mines respectively.
