Rajasthan CM Declares War on Negligence, Corruption in Public Works
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has vowed to eliminate negligence and corruption in public works, stressing the need for public trust in the government. He instructed officials to ensure regular public hearings, prompt complaint resolution, and effective monitoring.
Jaipur, February 10: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has declared that negligence and corruption in public interest works will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Addressing a review meeting of high officials of Pali division at the Satellite Tribal Center in Sirohi district, Sharma emphasized the government's policy of zero tolerance against corruption.

Ensuring Public Confidence
Sharma stressed the importance of officers and employees fulfilling their responsibilities to maintain public trust in the government. He announced that the state government will recognize and reward officers and employees who perform their duties diligently, while taking strict action against those who neglect their work.
Improving Public Services
The chief minister issued instructions to ensure regular public hearings, prompt complaint resolution, effective monitoring, and feedback collection. He reviewed various aspects of public services, including electricity and drinking water supply, medical facilities, the progress of the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, law and order, and other pertinent issues.
Accessible Public Hearings
Sharma emphasized the need for district-level officers to hold regular public hearings for at least one hour to address the concerns of citizens and prevent them from having to travel to the capital with their problems. He directed officials to establish a fixed time for public hearings and prominently display it in their offices.
