Rajasthan CM Cracks the Whip: 3 Hospital Staff Suspended for Dereliction of Duty
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma displayed zero tolerance for laxity in duty as he suspended three staff members of Sawai Man Singh Hospital for being absent during a surprise inspection. The suspended individuals include senior nursing officers Mukesh Babu Agrawal and Alam Ali Khan, as well as nursing officer Mukesh Kumar. The chief minister emphasized the importance of punctuality and warned of strict consequences for those who arrive late or remain absent without permission.
Jaipur, December 25: Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has taken a strict stance against laxity in duty by government employees. On Monday, he suspended three staff members of the state-run Sawai Man Singh Hospital for being absent during his surprise inspection.

Surprise Inspection Reveals Absenteeism
During his unannounced visit to the hospital, the chief minister found senior nursing officers Mukesh Babu Agrawal, Alam Ali Khan, and nursing officer Mukesh Kumar absent from their respective duties. Consequently, an order was issued to suspend all three individuals.
Suspension and Reassignment
As per the order, the suspended staff will be temporarily attached to the Ajmer Zone office during the suspension period. This action serves as a strong message to all government employees, emphasizing the importance of punctuality and adherence to duty.
Strict Action Against Absenteeism
Chief Minister Sharma conveyed a clear warning to all doctors, officers, and personnel, stating that strict action will be taken against those who arrive late or remain absent without permission. He stressed the significance of punctuality and dedication to duty in ensuring efficient healthcare services.
Meeting with Hospital Officials
Following the surprise inspection, the chief minister addressed a meeting with senior medical and administrative officers of Sawai Man Singh Hospital. He emphasized the need for regular and effective monitoring of the hospital's functioning and suggested the formation of a special team for this purpose.
Ensuring Adequate Staffing
Recognizing the importance of round-the-clock patient care, Sharma highlighted the need for adequate staff, even during night shifts. He also advocated for a rotational duty system among hospital employees to ensure sufficient personnel in all wards.
Patient-Centric Approach
Acknowledging the hospital's reputation as a prestigious government facility, the chief minister prioritized the convenience of patients and their families. He emphasized the significance of maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients and their visitors.

Sharma assured the hospital's medical and administrative officers of the state government's unwavering support. He urged them to remain vigilant and committed to their duties, promising that the government would provide all necessary assistance.
