The body should also decide the admission procedure to these institutes and direct them to reduce the pressure on students," Singh told reporters here yesterday.

Eight students taking coaching have committed suicide this year in Kota. Last year, the number of suicide cases involving such students was 19, following which guidelines to training academies were given. Recently, Kota District Collector Ravi Kumar Surpur had written an emotional letter to parents of over 1.50 lakh students in coaching institutes here, asking them not to force their expectations on the children.

The Governor also said that every government university in Rajasthan will have its own anthem which will have a mention of the state's glorious history. It will be sung after the national anthem in convocation programmes, he added.
