'Raising pro-Pakistan slogans my personal view', says National Conference MLA
Earlier, the house was adjourned for 15 minutes and the proceedings resumed later after BJP MLAs raised anti-Pakistan slogans in the assembly.
Amid ongoing operation at Sunjawan Army camp, National Conference MLA stirred a controversy by raising pro-Pakistan slogan in Jammu and Kashmir assembly on Saturday.

National Conference MLA Akbar Lone raised pro-Pakistan slogans in the Assembly after the ruling BJP members raised anti-Pakistan slogans after the terror attack on army camp in Jammu in which four people including two JCOs have been killed so far.
Akbar Lone justifying his action said, "Yes, I said it. It is my personal view, I said it in the house and I don't think anyone should have a problem with it."
Earlier, the house was adjourned for 15 minutes and the proceedings resumed later after BJP MLAs raised anti-Pakistan slogans in the assembly.
However, National Conference distanced itself from the controversy. Party State Spokesperson tweeted "Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib and the entire party is of the unequivocal stand that NC MLA from Sonawari Akbar Lone has spoken out of turn and his slogans in the Legislative Assembly are completely unacceptable to the party."
Just spoke to @JKNC_ President Dr. Farooq Abdullah Sahib. Dr. Sahib and the entire party is of the unequivocal stand that NC MLA from Sonawari Mr. Akbar Lone has spoken out of turn and his slogans in the Legislative Assembly are completely unacceptable to the party. 1/2

Honble @JKNC_ President has said the NC MLA should not forget that he belongs to a party that rejected the two nation theory and he should also remember the oath he swears in the name of God at the beginning of his terms. The party disowns and condemns his remarks. 2/2.
