Rainy Sunday morning in Delhi

New Delhi, May 29: It was a rainy Sunday, May 29 morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 24.0 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average, weather officials said.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy. Dust and thunder storm with rain is likely to occur towards the evening or night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Maximum temperature is likely to hover around 39 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 65 percent, the official said.

On Saturday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.5 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average while the minimum temperature of the day settled at 31.6 degrees Celsius, five notches above season's average.
