Rains likely in Delhi Sunday

New Delhi, Sep 14: It was a pleasant Sunday morning here with a minimum temperature of 25.6 degrees Celsius, a degree above normal. The Met Office has forecast light rainfall in some part of the city.

"The sky will turn partly cloudy with rain or thundershowers in some parts of the city," said an India Meteorological Department official.

The day's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 78 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year, while the minimum settled a notch below the season's average at 23.5 degrees Celsius.
