Rains In Delhi, Bring Down Temperature; 13 Flight Diverted Due To Bad Weather
Delhi experienced a minimum temperature of 17.2°C, following late-night and early-morning showers that brought down the temperature.
The rainfall, accompanied by strong winds, had a positive impact on the air quality, shifting it into the 'moderate' category in the national capital.

As of 9 am on Tuesday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi was at 126, indicating a 'moderate' air quality level. In contrast, the AQI on Monday stood at 207, falling within the 'poor' category.
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) classifies AQI as follows: 0-50 (good), 51-100 (satisfactory), 101-200 (moderate), 201-300 (poor), 301-400 (very poor), and above 400 (severe).
Rainfall data recorded as of 8:30 am on Tuesday indicated that Safdarjung received 5.4mm of rain, Palam recorded 3.8mm, Lodhi Road received 4.8mm, Ridge recorded 9.6mm, and Ayanagar measured 5mm of rainfall.
As many as 13 flights that were to land at the Delhi airport on Monday evening were diverted due to bad weather, according to an official.
The diversions happened mostly between 7 pm and 11 pm. The flights were diverted to Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, the official in the know said.
Specific details about the flights could not be immediately ascertained. Gusty winds accompanied by rain lashed parts of the national capital on Monday evening.
