Rains, hailstorm again hit Nashik district in Maharashtra

Nashik, April 30: Unseasonal rains accompanied with hailstorm lashed several parts of this North Maharashtra district yesterday causing further damage of crops, reports reaching here said today.

The downpour and hail struck Niphad, Sinnar and Baglan tehsils last evening and damaged crops like onions, corns and wheat, they said. Nashik and over a dozen other districts in the State were hit by a similar disaster in February-March this year.
