Heavy rains lashed parts of the Delhi on Saturday evening, bringing respite from the heat in the national capital.
The showers brought the temperature several notches down as Delhiites witnessed a pleasant evening.

Thursday's rain brought minimum temperature down to 25.2 degrees celsius, two notches below the season's average.

Although the rains brought respite to the sweltering heat that gripped the region in the last few days, the rains on Thursday clogged several roadways in the region.On Wednesday, the temperature had soared to about 34 degrees Celsius with humidity.

Areas like Delhi, Patparpganj, IP Extension and Sector 12, 16, 18 and 56 of Noida were severely waterlogged on Thursday.
