Rahul vs Modi in 2014 elections: Announcement soon

In the press meet held on Friday, prime minister Manmohan Singh had said that Rahul Gandhi will play a 'big role' in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. On Saturday Congress sources said that the PM has already echoed the party's take on Rahul. The PM had also said that he willhe would bow out of office after the Lok Sabha elections, making way for the new prime minister.
Union minister Manish Tiwari also said Rahul is the right person to be the prime minister.
"The Honourable Prime Minister has made the position very clear. He said that he led the government very successfully for the last 10 years and in 2014 when elections are held he would hand over the baton to another Prime Minister. And from the point of view of the Congress, we do hope that Rahul Gandhi, who is the natural leader of the Congress party, would be the rightful person once bestowed the blessings of the people to be carrier of that baton," Tiwari told reporters on Friday after Manmohan Singh's press meet.
