Rahul Gandhi to address farmers' rally on April 19
New Delhi, April 6: Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who has been on a "leave of absence" for nearly two months, will address the party's farmers' rally at Ramlila Maidan here on April 19.
Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh, interacting with reporters on Monday, said the rally, which is to be attended by lakhs of farmers from across the country, will be addressed by party president Sonia Gandhi and others. [Timing of Rahul Gandhi's sabbatical was wrong: Digvijay Singh]

He mentioned Rahul Gandhi's name only when the media persons asked him when the Congress vice president will returnfrom leave.
"Rahul Gandhi ji will also address the rally," he said.
The 44-year-old Congress vice president has been on a "leave of absence" since the budget session of parliament began on February 23.
