Rahul Gandhi Takes Dig At BJP, RSS: 'They're Spreading Discord Between People'
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, on Monday accused BJP and its ideological partner, RSS, of spreading division and discord across the country.
Speaking at a rally in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district, Gandhi said, "Wherever they go, they create divisions between castes, religions, states, and languages, trying to incite conflict."

Gandhi also alleged that BJP has been attempting to sow discord between the Pahari and Gujjar communities, but assured the crowd that these efforts would fail.
"Nafrat ko sirf mohabbat se kaata ja sakta hai. On one side are those spreading hatred, and on the other side are those opening shops of love," he remarked, stressing the need to counter hate with love.
Highlighting Congress' approach, he said, "Congress will move forward by bringing everyone together and giving everyone their rights," stressing that for his party, everyone is treated equally and no one will be left behind.
The Congress leader further reassured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that he is ready to raise their concerns in Parliament, saying, "Whatever the people want and whatever work they want him to do, he is ready to address any issue in Parliament."
He also noted that the opposition has grown stronger since the last Lok Sabha elections and is united in opposing the government's "anti-people" policies.
Taking aim at Prime Minister Modi, Gandhi said, "Narendra Modi has lost his confidence, and it is evident on his face. We have impacted his psychology, and he is not the same as he once was."
In a critique of the Centre, Gandhi pointed out that while Union territories have often been made into states or divided into new ones, "for the first time in history, a state-Jammu and Kashmir-was divided into two Union territories."
