Rahul Gandhi Slams PM Modi In LS Over Manipur Violence
Taking a dig at the Prime Minister, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday alleged that PM Modi in his Lok Sabha address laughed at the women of Manipur because he doesn't want to stop the violence in Manipur.
"I watched the Prime Minister speak for two hours laughing, joking, and raising slogans... He seems to have forgotten that Manipur is on fire and has been on fire for several months... A state has been disseminated because of the government's divide and rule, that is why I said Bharat Mata has been murdered... The idea of Bharat Mata has been killed," Rahul Gandhi asserted.

Rahul Gandhi said that the PM wants Manipur violence to go on and is allowing the state to burn.
"I said it because Manipur no longer exists as a state that requires control, a state requires authority that has disappeared in the state and I saw this with my own eyes when I went to when we went to the Meitei area he was category told we want you to come but please ensure that if there are in any Kukis in your security area then they cannot enter, else we will shoot them, he added and said the same happened with the Kuki area.
PM Modi later took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi and said the government has restored the pride of the country and has taken it to new heights.
"We've taken India's reputation to greater heights but there are some people who are trying to tarnish the image of our country in the world but today the world's trust in India is increasing," PM Modi said in his reply to Opposition's no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha.
