Nasty Joke: Rahul goes to Dalit houses for Honeymoon, says Ramdev

. While cracking a joke on the

Vice President, the yoga guru went too far while saying, "Rahul goes to Dalit houses for picnic and honeymoon."

During a press conference in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Ramdev said, "Rahul is searching for a foreigner bride but his mother Sonia Gandhi is not allowing him to marry a foreigner unless until he becomes the PM."

Continuing his joke on Rahul, Ramdev added, "...hence, he (Rahul) goes to Dalit houses for picnic and honeymoon. But he will not tie the knot with those Dalit girls."

Meanwhile, the yoga guru, who was asked not to campaign for BJP during his yoga camps, found the trick to befool the Election Commission (EC) by re-branding his yoga camps as 'Yog Diksha & Rashtra Nirman Sabha."

Earlier had Ramdev had urged his supporters to cast their ballots in favour of Uma Bharti, BJP candidate from Jhansi Lok Sabha seat. He, however, later defended his act asserting that the event was non-political.

The EC had issued notice asking district election officers not to grant permission for activities like yoga camps if there was possibility of their misuse for political campaigning.

The poll panel notice said, "It has come to notice of the commission that in certain places while permission was sought by certain organisations to organise non-political activites like yoga shivirs etc. the platform was used for political campaigning in clear violation of the condition for which permission was granted."
