Rahul Gandhi ‘empowering’ youth to vote for BJP, Twitterati troll Congress VP
A hilarious Twitter trend busts Rahul Gandhi's leadership quality.
New Delhi, March 22: On Wednesday morning, the hashtag-- #RGEmpoweringYouth--was trending on Twitter. Most of the tweets were in praise of the Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi.
For the uninitiated, Rahul is also known as RG (the initials from his first and family names). The people who were tweeting also identified themselves as youth workers of the Congress. Thus it was clear that the trend was started by the Congress IT wing.

However, after sometime the social media trend backfired as fans of the Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi swung into action and reminded Congress workers and supporters how Rahul has repeatedly failed to win elections in the last few years and thus have helped the BJP to win elections after elections. The critics of Rahul also called him the BJP's star campaigner.

In recent times, several Congress leaders have openly voiced their discontentment against the party's top leadership after the Congress' poor performance in the assembly polls in five states. However, no one has directly asked Rahul to leave his post. Currently, Rahul is in the United States with Sonia Gandhi, who is undergoing treatment in the country.
