MP CM Accuses Rahul Gandhi of Undermining Sister's Rights in Rae Bareli Bid

In a recent political rally held in the Guna Lok Sabha constituency, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav made striking allegations against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Yadav accused Gandhi of undermining the political aspirations of his sister, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, by choosing to file his nomination from the Rae Bareli constituency, a seat traditionally represented by their mother, Sonia Gandhi. This move, according to Yadav, symbolizes Gandhi's disregard for his sister's political rights.

Yadav further criticized Rahul Gandhi for his shift from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, to the Wayanad constituency in Kerala for the 2019 elections, after a defeat. He humorously remarked on Gandhi's choice of constituency, suggesting that had Kerala not been bounded by the sea, it's uncertain where Gandhi might have headed next. This comment was made amidst laughter and applause from the audience gathered at the rally.

The Chief Minister also highlighted a claim that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's husband had shown readiness to contest in Uttar Pradesh, as evidenced by posters, yet Rahul Gandhi proceeded to file his nomination from Rae Bareli. "Ye Apne Jija Ke Nahi Huye!" Yadav exclaimed, indicating a perceived betrayal within the family dynamics.

Adding to his critique of the Congress party's internal dynamics, Yadav took a veiled jab at senior Congress leaders Kamal Nath and Digvijaya Singh, referring to them as 'Rahu' and 'Ketu'. These terms are often used in Indian astrology to represent malefic forces. He implied that these two figures were causing turmoil within the party, with one being from Chhindwara and the other contesting from Rajgarh, a neighboring constituency to Guna.

The Guna constituency is set for polls on May 7, marking a significant phase in the Lok Sabha elections. Yadav's comments reflect the intense political rivalry and the high stakes involved in these elections. As parties gear up for the upcoming polls, such statements add to the fervor and speculation surrounding potential outcomes.
