Radhika Yadav Murder Case: Was Manju Yadav Involved In The Murder Plot? Police Probing All Angles
Was Radhika Yadav's mother Manju Yadav aware of the murder plot by her husband? The cops are now investigating her role in the killing, whether she was aware of the plot being planned, allegedly by her husband.
The Shocking Murder
Deepak Yadav, Radhika's father, shot dead his daughter and Haryana's rising tennis star on Thursday. He has confessed to killing, allegedly over the taunts by his relatives for living off her income from a tennis academy.

His wife Manju Yadav has refused to give a statement on the incident saying she is not well and did not witness the incident although she was at the residence.
"He hasn't given a clear reason yet, nor confirmed if his wife was aware of the plan-but it appears she may have had some knowledge," Hindustan Times quoted Sandeep Kumar, public relations officer (PRO), Gurugram police, as saying.
The FIR, which was based on a complaint from her uncle Kuldeep Yadav, indicates that Radhika's mother, Manju Yadav, was on the first floor of the house when the shooting occurred, according to a report in PTI.
He explained that he and his family lived on the ground floor of the Sector 57 house, while Deepak, Manju, and their daughter Radhika resided on the first floor.
At the time of the killing, only the three of them were on the first floor; Radhika's brother Dheeraj was not home, he said.
The FIR states that on Thursday at approximately 10:30 am, he heard a "loud explosion" and immediately rushed to the first floor.
"I saw my niece Radhika lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen, and the revolver was found in the drawing room. My son, Piyush Yadav, also rushed to the first floor. Both of us picked up Radhika and rushed her in our car to Asia Maringo Hospital in Sector 56 where doctors declared her dead," the uncle stated in his complaint.
This account contradicts an earlier report that the mother was on the ground floor and ran upstairs after hearing what she thought was a pressure cooker blast.
"My niece was a very good tennis player, and she had won several trophies. I am surprised why she was murdered. My brother has a licensed .32 bore revolver. It was lying there," the news agency quoted the uncle of the former tennis player as telling the police.
According to police, the accused had been depressed for about 15 days and believed his daughter did not need to run an academy because he was financially secure with a good rental income.
Tensions at home may have also been fueled by Radhika's appearance in a romantic music video with an independent artist in 2024.
Meanwhile, the accused, Deepak Yadav, was brought before a city court, which granted police a one-day remand for interrogation.
