Radhe Maa hits the headline, this time as a party theme

Mumbai, Aug 26: Radhe Maa lives in the memories of the people....literally. Meet this young group of women who have dressed up like Radhe Maa for a kitty party. All dressed in red, the women have huge tikas on their forehead, and some doning a Trishul like the self-proclaimed Godwoman.

The godwoman, otherwise, has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. She was detained for an alleged dowry harassment case, controversial photographs showing her wearing mini skirts and obscenity in public. A case has been lodged by a Phagwara resident who accuses her of hurting her religious sentiments.

The controversies surrounding her took even the Film fraternity by a whirlwind. While famed film director Subhash Ghai and singer Sonu Nigam spoke in their defence, actor Rishi Kapoor criticised her strongly. Dolly Bindra, of Big Boss fame, also alleged that she was sexually assaulted on Radhe Maa's instructions.

Meanwhile, social media and Twitteratti are yet to know the way to handle this new discovery in the spiritual world. While she is the butt of jokes for some, there are others who believe that she is being overhyped. There are people who are supporting her too.
