Rs 1.5 crore taken by Radhe Maa, farmers commit suicide

Mumbai, Aug 10: Radhe Maa, the self-proclaimed godwoman is now faced with more allegations.

A complaint filed with the Kandivli police stations alleges that Radhe Maa along with her two helpers had tricked seven farming family by taking around Rs 1.5 crore from them.

The complaint states that Radhe Maa and her helpers fooled a seven member farmer family in Gujarat by taking money and guarantying the prevalence of peace and prosperity in their house.

Four of the farmers committed suicide last year after realising that they have been tricked, they paid the money by selling off their lands.

The complaint filed by Ramesh Joshi, president of Dharm Rakshak Maha Manch states that Radhe Maa have been tricking innocent people by ensuring them prosperity in their lives.

Once reports about Radhe Maa started appearing in media, Joshi contacted the people in Kutch where he had heard about the farmer's suicide because of her.

Joshi travelled to Kutch and collected the information about the incident.

From his investigation Joshi understood that four of the seven people had paid more than Rs 1.5 crore to Radhe Maa and her assistants, committed suicide.

Joshi have filed a complaint with the police. He has asked the police to hold Radhe Maa responsible for the suicides.

In the meanwhile Radhe Maa who arrived in Mumbai yesterday said that she went to attend a family function and god will deliver justice to her.
