The security agencies are on the hunt for Comrade Prakash in connection with the letter written by the naxalites in which a plot to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi is made.
An officer told OneIndia that there has been no indication of any movement by Prakash alias Rituparna Gowswami. His name could have been misused by by the cadres of the Maoists. He is currently residing in Assam and is leading a normal life, officials also said.
The letter dated April 18 2017 is addressed to one Comrade Prakash. The letter is signed 'R' and the police suspect that it could be Rona Wilson, a Delhi based activist. Wilson was arrested on Wednesday for his alleged links with the naxalites.
The letter states, "defeating Hindu fascism has been our core agenda and a major concern. We are working to consolidate ties with like-minded organisations, political parties, representatives of minorities across the country."
"Despite big defeats like Bihar and West Bengal, PM Modi had successfully established BJP governments in more than 15 states." The letter talked about senior comrades proposing concrete steps to end the Modi-era. Further it says that a sum of Rs 8 crore needs to be raised apart from purchasing M-4 rifles and four lakh rounds.
