Pushpak Express Passengers Hit By Karnataka Express In Jalgaon: Here's What Authorities Say
At least 8 people have tragically lost their lives, and several others have sustained serious injuries after passengers of the Pushpak Express were struck by the Karnataka Express in Jalgaon District. The incident occurred as passengers from the Pushpak Express were outside their coaches, suspecting a fire on the train. The collision occurred when the Karnataka Express, travelling on an adjacent track, passed by.

According to Divisional Commissioner of Nashik, Praveen Gedam, emergency response teams have been dispatched to the site. The authorities, including the Additional Superintendent of Police (SP), SP, and the Collector, are on their way to provide necessary support. The rescue operations are being coordinated with the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and railway officials.

The Karnataka Express has resumed its journey, and the Pushpak Express will continue once the injured passengers have been attended to.
