Punjab Shame: Youth rapes 7-month-old calf
Chandigarh, Aug 6: Rape, gang-rape, sexual assault, molestation, harassment always make headlines in the country. But this time it crossed all limits.
According to media reports, a 25-year-old youth has been accused of raping a 7-month-old calf. Yes, even the poor animal became a victim of crazy lust of human being.
The incident took place at Mandanagla village near Ahmedgarh in Punjab. Media reports claimed that the incident took place on Tuesday, Aug 4 and the accused was booked a day after.
The accused has been identified as Dinesh. Punjab Police official informed that the owner of the calf filed a legal case against Dinesh, who later was booked under Section 377 (unnatural offences) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
IPC Section 377 stipulates punishment for unnatural sex against man, woman or animal.
The police official also informed that the investigating officers have been waiting for medical examination reports of the calf from veterinary department.
After receiving the reports, investigating team would take the next step against Dinesh. Currently, Dinesh is on run and cops have been trying to nab the culprit.
This was not the first time when an animal became a victim of human's sin. Earlier similar kind of incident was reported from Tamil Nadu where a man, under influence of drugs and alcohol, raped a cow.
