Punjab Honours PSEB Toppers at ‘Sitare Zameen Par’ Award Ceremony 2026

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann attended the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) Toppers Award Ceremony 2026, titled "Sitare Zameen Par", where outstanding students from Classes 8, 10, and 12 were felicitated for their academic achievements. The event celebrated merit and excellence across all 23 districts of Punjab while highlighting the state's continued focus on strengthening the education sector.

Addressing the gathering, Mann described education as the most powerful tool for personal growth and social progress. He said the Punjab government is committed to transforming government schools and ensuring access to quality education for every child. Encouraging students to dream big, he urged them to remain dedicated to their goals and make the most of the opportunities available to them.

During the ceremony, students who secured the top three positions in Classes 8, 10, and 12 in each district were honoured with certificates and recognition for their exceptional performance in the PSEB examinations. The achievements of these students reflected the growing academic standards being witnessed across both urban and rural areas of the state.

The programme also acknowledged the crucial role played by parents and teachers in students' success. Speakers praised families for their support and encouragement, while teachers were recognised for their dedication, guidance, and efforts in preparing students for examinations and future challenges.

Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains and AAP Punjab in-charge Manish Sisodia also attended the event and congratulated the award recipients. They said Punjab is making significant strides in education and that such recognition programmes help inspire students to pursue excellence and foster healthy academic competition.
