Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Residence, BJP Offices Receive Fresh Bomb Threat

A fresh bomb threat sent through an e-mail on Wednesday triggered heightened security measures in Punjab and Delhi after it warned of attacks on Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's residence and senior BJP leader Sunil Jakhar.

The threatening message also mentioned the Punjab BJP headquarters as well as the party's Delhi office, prompting authorities to immediately step up security at all identified locations. Police teams and security agencies launched inspections and intensified surveillance in and around the targeted premises.

Officials said the threat was taken seriously, with bomb disposal squads and security personnel deployed as a precautionary measure. Investigators are now working to trace the origin of the e-mail and identify those responsible for issuing the threats.
