Punjab: 90 police officers transferred on administrative grounds

On administrative grounds, the Punjab government had transferred the police officers including the top cops.

Chandigarh, Apr 17: The Punjab government on Monday transferred 90 police officers, including those in the ranks of assistant commissioner of police and deputy superintendent of police, on administrative grounds.

Dalbir Singh has been transferred and posted as ACP/Central/Jalandhar while Manpreet Singh has been posted as ACP/Special Branch/Jalandhar, an official spokesperson said.

Surinder Pal has been posted as ACP/Licensing/Jalandhar while Balwinder Iqbal has been posted as DSP/CR/PAP Jalandhar Cantt.

Ravinder Pal has been posted as DSP, Ajnala while Sucha Singh has been posted as DSP/City/Batala, the spokesperson added.
