Puducherry CM picks up broom, cleans govt school as part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

Puducherry, Sept 4: In order to mark the implementation of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in his assembly constituency, Chief Minister V Narayanasamy picked up a broom and swept the premises of a government school.

Accompanied by conservancy workers, Narayanasamy swept the premises of Manimegalai Government Girls Higher Secondary school in Nellithope constituency.

Later, he inspected the constituency to ensure that garbage was not allowed to accumulate anywhere.

Puducherry has already witnessed active participation of Lt Governor Kiran Bedi in cleanliness drives during her week end visits to various rural, suburban and urban localities, ever since she assumed office last year.
